FEATURED MEMBERS – Jenn Rodgers and Shelley Rael

Jenn Rodgers

My name is Jenn Rodgers and I am an Independent Executive Director with Thirty-One Gifts. I have been with Thirty-One for almost 8 years. I love being my own boss and I am thankful every day that I don’t have to ask permission from anyone to spend time with the people I love.

Thirty-One believes in Celebrating, Encouraging, and Rewarding women. I don’t think I have ever felt as special as I do with Thirty-One.  For the first time as a professional I feel “seen”.  In my previous career as a dental hygienist, I didn’t experience a lot of being personally celebrated. In fact I mostly heard things like, “I really don’t like coming here” or “you aren’t my favorite person to see”.

On the flip side, I love celebrating my team! At Thirty-One, we don’t empower women to sell bags, we sell bags to empower women!

On a personal note, I am married to my best friend for 14 years and counting. Our daughter and son in law blessed us with our first grand daughter and we just celebrated her first birthday! We are also proud parents of two fur kids (dogs), Cookie and Charlie Brown!

Shelley Rael

Contrary to her title, Shelley Rael, MS RDN doesn’t believe in diets. A registered dietitian nutritionist since 1999, she helps people change their mindset about food, eliminating rules and judgment while supporting a lifestyle that gives you sustainable energy. Rather than gimmicks, supplements, or fad diets, Shelley works with individuals to create Customized Nutrition Blueprints, or action plans, for sustainable all-day physical and mental energy. Having worked in wellness, health promotion and disease prevention/risk reduction her entire career, she knows there is no one diet that works for everyone and helps people choose a way of eating that works for them year-round, not just before a big event, vacation, season or change of the calendar. Fads, trends, and quick fixes will come and go, but eating will always be necessary. Learn more about how work with Shelley at .

Join Shelley for her upcoming workshop “Good Food Bad Food: Mindset Shifts to Release Weight and Stop Guilt About Food” on Saturday, July 27, 9 am – 12 pm. Register today on Eventbrite at use the promo code FREETICKET to attend for FREE.

Empowering Women through Educational Scholarships

Today’s scholarship recipients are tomorrow’s leaders.  ABWA members have provided opportunities for women to achieve their personal and professional best by championing educational opportunities through the Stephen Bufton Memorial Educational Fund (SBMEF). Since 1953, SBMEF has awarded almost 18 million dollars in scholarships to more than 17,000 women. To learn more about available scholarships, go to
